MPUMIE NHLAPO

Nompumelelo Nhlapho (b. 1998) is a South African fashion designer and visual artist from Sebokeng in the Vaal. She is the founder of Gadat House, a multidisciplinary luxury fashion house that approaches luxury as a form of empowerment.

Her practice centres on collaboration across artistic disciplines, fostering creative communities while sustaining cultural legacy. Through her work, Nhlapho positions fashion not only as a medium of expression but also as a tool for connection, identity, and collective growth.
