Ntsamai Ramakhothatsa Moshimane is a South African lens-based artist and graphic designer, hailing from Diepkloof, Soweto, born in 1993. Currently residing and working in Johannesburg, his artistic practice delves into themes of self, belonging, and identity, while also interrogating the notions of physical and spiritual space. Moshimane employs experimental processes, utilizing camera techniques and digital post-production methods to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Throughout his career, Moshimane has participated in various group exhibitions, showcasing his work to a diverse audience. Notable showcases include an online exhibition with Nguni Tribe in 2023, participation in the JIGSAW exhibition organized by the Peanut Noir artist collective at Through The Lens Collective in 2020, the public project "Silent Existence" at the Fordsburg Market Square, and the alumni exhibition "Disruptions" at the Market Photo Workshop gallery in 2016.
Moshimane's artistic vision has garnered recognition and his work has been published in Brainstorm Magazine.
